Dr. Gunnar Clausen is a partner for telecommunication, internet, media, and entertainment at Simon-Kucher & Partners. Simon-Kucher is specialized in marketing, pricing, and sales strategies. It is the worlds leading pricing consultancy according to, for example, Business Week and The Economist. Dr. Clausen has worked for different online businesses and (online) gaming companies to help improve their revenue management. Typical topics are product portfolio optimization, pricing optimization, pricing processes, customer value management, customer conversion & retention, or marketing efficiency. Before joining Simon-Kucher & Partners, Dr. Clausen worked as a consultant for DiamondCluster / Oliver Wyman and as as an interim pricing manager for a mobile operator start-up in the Middle East. Dr. Clausen holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Cologne and was a visiting researcher at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
